Women 5'9" and over
Long Story by ownthread

Why normal sizing fails
- Regular patterns are drafted for about 5'5". Adding a size adds width, not length, so sleeves stop short and dresses ride up.
- Retail 'tall' ranges are a handful of basics, often just a longer hem on the same torso.
- You cannot add length to a sleeve or a bodice after the fact.
How we get your fit
Tell us your height and, if you know them, your bust, sleeve and inseam. We scale bodice, sleeve and skirt lengths to your height from a tested pattern and keep the widths from your usual size. A technical designer reviews every order.
Questions
Is this made to measure?
It is made to order to your proportions. We start from a tested pattern, adjust its lengths and proportions to your numbers, and a technical designer reviews the result before sampling.
What if it does not fit?
We sample first and make it right. If a delivered garment misses the promised fit, we remake it or refund you.
How long does it take?
Made to order: typically several weeks from deposit to delivery, confirmed with your order.
Can I change the design?
Yes. Customize opens the garment in our studio where you can change color, fabric, details and artwork. Your fit is kept separately, so design edits never undo it.
